Abstract

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world requires the education process to be carried out innovatively, including the education process in Indonesia. At the elementary school level, the use of online learning is recommended by using a platform with a simple operating system such as WhatssApp. The application of online learning requires the readiness of various parties, both from schools, office holders, students, and parents.This research was conducted in grade IV of SDN Aengdake I using qualitative research methods (case studies). This study aimed to describe the obstacles or difficulties faced by teachers and students in learning English online at SDN Aengdake I. In general, there were two factors that underlie the obstacles in learning English online at SDN Aengdake I, they were management and technical factors. In terms of management factors, teachers had difficulty using innovative teaching methods, limited teaching time, and many students lack of discipline in learning process. Abstract

Abstract: In the process of teaching and learning mathematics, students usually have an anxiety. One of the anxieties faced by students of elementary schools is tend to hesitated in answering questions because of a lack by self-efficacy and mathematical comprehension. Therefore, this study aims to determine the correlation between mathematics comprehension and student’s self- efficacy on fractional mathematics learning. The method used in this research is a correlational design. The population is all second grade students in North Sumedang. The second grade student’s in the experimental classI (Panyingkiran III Elementary School) and class II (Sukamaju Elementary School) as the research samples. Normality test used by Kolmogorov-Smirnov and correlation test used by Spearman's rho. The results of this research are: 1) There are positive correlation between the mathematics comprehension and student’s self-efficacy on fractional mathematics learning and 2) there are similarities in characteristics between student's of mathematics comprehension and student self-efficacy, so that 28.09% of the variation in achievement students' mathematics comprehension can be influenced by students' self- efficacy. Keywords: Mathematics Comprehension, Self-Efficacy, and Fractional Mathematics Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper tries to discuss the Kampoeng Baca Pelangi community as an effort to educate and reduce the impact of the natural disaster in Lombok for child victims. Then the aim of his command was to explore the form of the Kampoeng Baca Pelangi community in educating and reducing the psychological impact for children who were victims of the Lombok earthquake. Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters. Based on data compiled from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), it is stated that during 2020, starting from January 1, 2020 to December 28, 2020, there were 2,925 natural disasters throughout Indonesia. This paper uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The findings in this study are in terms of educating children about the impact of natural disasters, the Kampoeng Baca Pelangi community takes steps such as: (1) Identifying children affected by disasters and planning appropriate activities for them, (2) providing time for children to discuss disasters, (3) careful group discussions for children, (4) encourage children not to consume news too much, (5) encourage children to continue if possible. Meanwhile, to reduce the impact of natural disasters, the Kampoeng Baca Pelangi community applies traumatic counseling strategies. Traumatic counseling is divided into three stages, (1) the initial stage of counseling, (2) the middle stage of counseling, (3) the final stage of counseling. Keywords: Kampoeng Baca Pelangi community, psychological impacts, child victims, Lombok Earthquake

Abstract

This study aims to; (1) describe and analyze the effect of authoritarian parenting on students' religious behavior at SDN 32 Tanjung Bakau, Teluk Keramat District, (2) describe and analyze how much influence democratic parenting has on religious behavior in Indonesia. SDN 32 Tanjung Bakau, Teluk Keramat District, (3) describes and analyzes how much influence democratic parenting has on religious behavior in SDN 32 Tanjung Bakau, Teluk Keramat District, (4) describes and analyzes how much influence authoritarian parenting is, democratic and permissive towards religious behavior in SDN 32 Tanjung Bakau, Teluk Keramat District. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with the type of causal associative research (cause-effect). In this study consisted of 4 variables, namely the first variable student religious behavior, authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting, and permissive parenting. The population with research subjects were students of grade V SDN 32 Tanjung Bakau, amounting to 30 people. Data collection using a questionnaire method. Test the validity of the instrument by using the product moment analysis technique, while the reliability test using the alpha coefficient. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. Prior to data analysis, the normality test analysis requirements were first carried out. The results showed that: (1) there was an influence of authoritarian parenting on religious behavior, the magnitude of the influence was 0.004 (0.4%) (2) there was a positive and significant effect of parenting style of democratic parents on religious behavior of 0.614 (61.4 %), (3) there is an influence of permissive parenting styles on religious behavior, the magnitude of the influence is 0.026 (2.6%), (4) there is a positive and significant influence on parenting styles for authoritarian, democratic and permissive parents on religious behavior by contributing 0.629 (62.9%) means that the influence between the variables of authoritarian parenting (1), democratic parenting (X2) and permissive parenting (X3) on religious behavior (Y) means that it has high strength

Abstract

Abstract: Observing technological developments in the digital learning era with increasingly massive 21st-century skills approach in the education sector must be responded to with professional teacher competence. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the teacher's competencies in professional engagement and selecting digital sources in the teaching and learning process. The research methodology used was survey research to subject's teachers as many as 61 respondents located at Dian Harapan Karawaci School, Tangerang. Respondent data collection was carried out by filling in an online questionnaire using google form media which was analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results showed that the three aspects of a teacher's competencies profile in the digital learning era have been achieved in a good category so that they can meet the criteria for teacher's competencies profile as expected. Even though it has reached the good category, there are two sub-aspects with supporting items that need further efforts to improve teacher competence through professional development or similar teacher training, namely DCPD-3 and DCPD-4.Keywords: Teacher, competencies, professional engagement, digital resources

Abstract

Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to determine the value of Pancasila contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa and to describe the internalization of the values of Pancasila and the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa in elementary schools and to find out the obstacles and solutions to internalizing the values of Pancasila based on local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa. The research will be carried out at SD Negeri 3 Ngantru, Trenggalek District, Trenggalek Regency, East Java by using a form of qualitative research with the intention of describing the activities of implementing character values through local wisdom in these elementary schools and the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The results of the research that have been carried out are the values of Pancasila which are contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa starting from the first precept, namely the almighty deity where the art of Jaranan Turangga aims to give alms from the community to God Almighty by giving crops to people in need. . The second Pancasila value contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa, namely the emergence of a sense of tolerance, friendship, social care, an attitude of love for peace among humans and also the application of the fifth Pancasila precept, namely social justice for all Indonesian people. Keywords: Internalilation, Pancasila Values, Local Wisdom, Jaranan TuranggaYaksa

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to analyze the attitude of self-discipline at school and at home in class III students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhajirin Setia Marga. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method in the form of a survey. The subjects in this research were 20 students in the third grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhajirin Setia Marga. The results of the research on student discipline at school showed that 90% or 18 children pay attention to the teacher when explaining learning, 85% or 17 students who have maintained peace of learning in the classroom, 95% or 19 students who can answer when the teacher asks about learning outcomes, 85% or 17 children who have done school work on time, 90% or 18 students who have uniform to school, 80% or 18 students who have disposed of trash in their place, 75% or 15 children who are able to maintain school facilities properly. The results of the research on student discipline at home showed that 85% or 17 children who have done their homework at home, 80% or 16 students who have pray well at home, or 100% or 20 students who have helped their parents work at home. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the attitude of discipline is embedded in them, so that by accustoming to applying discipline in students, they can easily carry out their daily duties.Keywords: Attitude, Self-Discipline, StudentsAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sikap disiplin diri di sekolah dan di rumah pada siswa kelas III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhajirin Setia Marga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dalam bentuk survey. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhajirin Setia Marga sebanyak 20 orang. Hasil penelitian terhadap sikap disiplin disi siswa ketika di sekolah menunjukkan bahwa 90% atau 18 orang anak memperhatikan guru ketika menjelaskan pembelajaran, 85% atau 17 orang siswa yang sudah menjaga ketenangan belajar di dalam kelas, 95% atau 19 orang siswa yang sudah bisa menjawab ketika guru bertanya mengenai hasil pembelajaran, 85% atau 17 orang anak yang sudah mengerjakan tugas sekolah tepat waktu, 90% atau 18 orang siswa yang sudah berpakaian rapi ke sekolah, 80% atau 18 orang siswa yang sudah membuang sampah pada tempatnya, 75% atau 15 orang anak yang sudah bisa menjaga fasilitas sekolah dengan baik. Hasil penelitian terhadap sikap disiplin siswa ketika di rumah menunjukkan bahwa 85% atau 17 orang anak yang sudah mengerjakan PR dirumah, 80% atau 16 orang siswa yang sudah menjalankan ibadah dengan baik di rumah, 100% atau 20 orang siswa yang sudah membantu pekerjaan orang tua dirumah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap disiplin sudah tertanam dalam diri mereka, sehingga dengan terbiasa menerapkan kedisiplinan di dalam diri siswa, maka dengan mudah mereka menjalankan tugasnya sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: Sikap, Disiplin Diri, Siswa

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe fine motor skills in mentally retarded children. This study involved 20 mentally retarded children in special schools (SLB) in North Lombok. Identification was carried out using several data collection techniques, namely through observation, filling out instruments and interviewing the teacher. Identification of mentally disabled children focuses on several fine motor skills, namely: making curved lines, making horizontal lines, making circle patterns, cutting straight line pattern paper, cutting zigzag pattern paper, cutting circle pattern paper, cutting square pattern paper, simple drawing, coloring using colored pencils, coloring using crayons, and coloring using watercolors. The results of the study used descriptive analysis with two categorizations. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that out of 20 mentally retarded children can be categorized as follows: on average 68% of children are in the Start Development category (MB), which means that children are starting to be able to do activities, but still with the help of teachers and 32% of children fall into the Developing Appropriate category Hope (BSH). Thus, through this identification it can improve fine motor skills in mentally retarded children by using other interesting methods or strategies. Keywords: skill, finemotor, intelectual disability

Abstract

Abstract: The research objective was to determine the effect of the inquiry method on student’s cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities in science learning. This type of research is experimental research. The design used in this research is True Experimental Designs with the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Designs. The research sample consisted of 50 students. The research instruments were questions (cognitive) and observation sheets (affective and psychomotor). Student’s cognitive abilities in the experimental class showed a significant difference compared to the control class. Obtained L0 = 0.4049 (α = 0.05) with Ltable = 0.206 so that the data population is not normally distributed. Then performed a difference test using UMann-Wihitney obtained Utabel = 81 Ucount = 70 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Affective ability obtained L0 = 0.2671 (α = 0.05) with Ltable = 0.206 so that the data population is not normally distributed. Performed the UMann-Whitney test obtained Utabel = 99 ˂ Ucount = 139 so that there is no difference in affective ability in the control and experimental classes. The normality test on psychomotor abilities obtained L0 = 0.4049 (α = 0.05) Ltable = 0.206 so that the data population was not normally distributed. Furthermore, the UMann-Whitney test was carried out, it was obtained Utabel = 99 Ucount = 89, it was concluded that there were differences in student’s psychomotor abilities in the control class and the experimental class.Keywords: cognitive, affective, psychomotor, inquiry Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh metode inkuiri terhadap kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa pada pembelajaran IPA. Uji normalitas pada kemampuan psikomotorik diperoleh L0 = 0,4049 (α = 0,05) Ltabel = 0,206 sehingga populasi data berdistribusi tidak normal. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji UMann-Whitney diperoleh Utabel = 99 Uhitung = 89 disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.Kata Kunci: kognitif, afektif, psikomotorik, inkuiri

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find parents' efforts to improve understanding in caring for children with mental retardation in Kendal district. The subjects of this study were parents who have mentally retarded children. This study uses a qualitative case study method. The data collection uses interview and observation technique and the technical data analysis uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study found that parents are lack of understanding in taking care children with mental retardation and parents need to improve their understanding of taking care children with mental retardation.Keywords: Improving Understanding, Caring for Children, and Children with Mental Retardation
